Support for "A Quiet Language"

Help us bring "A Quiet Language" to the stage

In 1965, Elizabeth Cameron Dalman OAM changed Australian dance forever when she founded Australian Dance Theatre. Creating boundary pushing works against a backdrop of social upheaval and activism, ADT was seen as one of the foremost voices in Australian contemporary performance.

Now, as the company heads towards its 60th anniversary in 2025, Artistic Director Daniel Riley is traversing the history and philosophy of the company to create a new work inspired by the spirit of the company’s founding Artistic Director, Elizabeth Cameron Dalman OAM.

In A Quiet Language, we untangle the ideas of the past and fearlessly start a conversation through movement, time and space.

Development begins in May 2024 which is why we are seeking your investment in this significant work today.
